1. Who we are
This website is operated by Coopérative Edgar (“Coop Edgar”, “we”), a language services cooperative with offices at 5225 Rue Berri, Suite 300, Montréal, Quebec H2J 2W3 and 1605 Chemin Sainte-Foy, Suite 117, Québec City, Quebec G1S 0B7. Email: ventes@coopedgar.ca.
2. Person in charge of the protection of personal information

3. Information we collect
- Website forms (quote request, job application): first name, last name, organization, email address, phone number, specialty, field of expertise and the content of your message.
- Correspondence: the information you send us by email or telephone.
- Browsing data: only with your consent, analytics cookies collect usage data (pages viewed, time spent, device type, traffic source). No browsing data is linked to your identity without your consent.
4. Purposes
- to answer your requests and prepare quotes;
- to process job applications;
- to manage our client relationship in our CRM (HubSpot);
- to measure site traffic and improve its content (Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, with your consent);
- to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information and do not use it for any other purpose without your consent.
5. Cookies and consent
On your first visit, a banner lets you accept or refuse analytics cookies. Cookies strictly necessary for the site to work (for example, remembering your choice) do not require consent. You can change your choice at any time by clicking “Manage cookies” at the bottom of any page, or by deleting cookies in your browser.
6. Disclosure to third parties and hosting outside Quebec
Your information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf and contractually bound to protect it: HubSpot (CRM and forms), Google (Tag Manager and Analytics, with your consent) and Netlify (website hosting). These providers may store data outside Quebec, notably in the United States. 7. Retention
We keep your information as long as necessary for the purposes described above, then for the period required by law. Unsuccessful job applications are kept [12 months — TO BE CONFIRMED] and then securely destroyed.
8. Security
We apply physical, technical and organizational security measures proportionate to the sensitivity of the information: access controls, secure work environments, confidentiality agreements with our members and providers. An ISO 27001 (information security) certification process is under way.
9. Your rights
You may at any time request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, withdraw your consent or ask that its dissemination cease. Send your request to the person in charge named in section 2; we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec.
10. Confidentiality incidents
We keep a register of confidentiality incidents. In the event of an incident presenting a risk of serious injury, we notify the Commission d’accès à l’information and the persons concerned, as required by law.

We may update this policy. The date of the last update appears at the top of this page.
